We are network of people interested in learning, applying & teaching permaculture in the Withlacoochee bioregion, the hydrological heart of central Florida that provides drinking water to millions. To put it most simply, permaculture is an approach for designing a sustainable way of living based on mimicking natural ecologies.

"Permaculture is a philosophy of working with, rather than against nature; of protracted & thoughtful observation rather than protracted & thoughtless labour; of looking at plants & animals in all their functions, rather than treating any area as a single-product system.

Permaculture offers a radical approach to food production and urban renewal, water, energy and pollution. It integrates ecology, landscape, organic gardening, architecture and agro-forestry in creating a rich and sustainable way of living. It uses appropriate technology giving high yields for low energy inputs, achieving a resource of great diversity and stability. The design principles are equally applicable to both urban and rural dwellers." -Bill Mollison

If you are interested in living with mother earth, creating healthy communities, and getting more yield for less work then permaculture can be of use to you. So let us learn about it together, share successes, and begin creating a permanent culture of abundance!
